The single brain cell-haver of the Sci Lab Trio whose original goal was to become the next Royal Physician. She accepted a position under Bunny in order to secure funding and materials for her own research into genetically altered fungi prosthetics, "toys," and cures. Given his tendency to get injured a lot, she had consistent access to the guineapig for the lattermost thing.
That all went tits-up when, upon his erasure, Shelphys became the Royal Scientist. She isn't quite sure how she secured this position and she doesn't even remember who it used to belong to. She doesn't spend much time worrying about it - she is, after all, quite a busy woman.
Upon the Barrier's destruction, she keeps her Royal Admin position but initially has problems continuing her research due to the aggressively invasive nature of the fungi she bases her research on. She eventually persuades the humans to allow her to continue.
She is one of the only two monsters who knows what happened to the Orphanage humans.
