GENERAL INFORMATION

This instance of Gaster is a Living Doll-type monster. Once thought to be cursed objects, he is pretty much a snail in a very pretty shell. The black spots on his hands, shoulders, hips, and feet, are weak spots. He does his best to keep these covered.

He technically does not have a true face. His face is a magic bullet in the shape of a mask. He switches between them only when he can obscure his face. He sometimes gets stuck on one that is very inappropriate for the situation at hand.

He can summon multiple floating hands to carry out tasks or to attack with. He also uses them to maneuver in battle. His fighting style can be considered a dance.

BEFORE HE WAS THE ROYAL SCIENTIST

He is under the thumb of the Matriarch–his mother. Once he comes of age she plans to use him to further her goals of breeding the ultimate heir to her “kingdom,” given that he has both reproductive functions, and also shares her Boss Monster typing. At this time he simply goes by Gaster.

BUNNY’S ERA

After he murders his mother, he is taken in by the Royal Scientist of the time, who happened to be in cahoots with the Matriarch. After finding this out, and after murdering said Royal Scientist, stealing his notes, and then also usurping his position… Bunny finally gains his true freedom.

He ends up falling into an obsession over one of his assistants–a diminutive skeleton that he eventually nicknames “Fuse,” and similarly said skeleton nicknames him, “Bunny.” Ultimately, however, their relationship ends in tragedy as Bunny enables the worst qualities in his boyfriend and within five years drives the man to murder him one night, in their apartment.

(un)Fortunately, his panic catches the attention of the wandering SOUL of the first human, who makes a deal with him to see if he can avoid his death flag. He RESETs. But he goes on to make the same mistakes over and over, eventually on purpose, becoming addicted to pain and death.

Of course, he also fucks with other people’s lives in the meantime, just to see what will happen. He pretty much acts as his AU’s Flowey.

DOUBLE TROUBLE ERA + BEYOND

When he finally tries for a “Good End,” his marriage proposal includes a machine that sucks up every SOUL in the Underground aside from his own and Fuse’s. He gives Fuse a choice, and Fuse chooses the one that ends up freeing those SOULs and dooming Bunny’s to the void.

(un)Fortunately, he is able to crawl out of the void bit-by-byte with each of Fuse’s RESETs. However, he never manages to accumulate all of his data before Fuse loses that ability, which leaves Bunny a half-cognizant, glitching and melting mess of his former self.

It’s inadvisable to touch him or to let him touch you, it will feel like pins and needles being driven into your nerves.

He is generally not hostile unless you get between him and the one he is looking for.

It would be possible to fix him. There are two ways: compress the data that he has accumulated, which will result in a 3’ version with diminished stats and chunky memory gaps; or scrape the rest of his data out of the void and make him whole once more.
